Blue Mountain Resort is follows all CDC and local government mandates. At this time masks are recommended indoors,  but are not required inside or outside our facilities.  

A vaccine card is not needed to enter any of our indoor spaces. 

Yes, both indoor eateries and seating areas are open. At this time, masks are recommended, but not required indoors.

Yes, all tickets (including ski, snowboard, and snow tubing tickets) must be purchased online. There are no ticket windows at the mountain. 

Ticket quantities are limited based on the amount of open terrain. It is common for tickets to sell out. 

All tickets are dynamically priced. Purchase your ticket in advance to get the best price and to ensure your spot on the mountain. 

We are open for Skiing and Snowboarding 7 days a week starting December 3rd. 

Hours are:

Monday-Friday 9am-9pm

Saturday & Sunday 8am-9pm

At this time, Snow Tubing and Lessons are closed and are anticipated to open December 26th. 

Parking at both the Summit and Valley Lodge is free. 

Blue Mountain Resort has free off-street parking at both the Summit Lodge and Valley Lodge. Please be sure to use the designated parking areas only.

Our physical address is 1660 Blue Mountain Drive, Palmerton PA 18071 – Blue Mountain Resort is the home of PA’s highest vertical, the most varied terrain, and some of the longest runs in the region!  Close to home – we are only 90 minutes from Philadelphia and 90 minutes from New York – so you can join us any day or everyday of the year.  Get directions via Google.

Due to limited lodge seating, outside food or drink is not permitted inside our lodges. 

If you choose to pack your lunch, there are outdoor tables available for use. Tailgating is also permitted.

Yes, both lodges offer restrooms and a locker area. Lockers are available to rent at the kiosk with a credit card only. 

Yes, we offer free WiFi internet service to support multiple devices across the mountain!

  • Dress in warm layers. 
  • Waterproof or water-resistant snow pants & jacket, gloves, a hat, scarf, 1 good pair of socks, a base layer and mid layer are recommended. 
  • Synthetic fabrics, wool-blend or waterproof clothing is highly recommended, no cotton clothing if possible. 
  • Consider wearing sunglasses or goggles if you are concerned about cold wind in your eyes. 
  • Bring lip balm to keep your lips hydrated, and sunscreen if the forecast applies.

True Blue Mountain Sports Shop is fully stocked with all your Winter gear needs! Visit either our Valley or Summit location 7 days a week. 

Our Learning Center operates out of the Valley Lodge located at the base of Blue Mountain. All Youth & Adult Lessons start & end in the Valley.

Blue Mountain Resort does not currently have lodging onsite. There are many local hotels, bed & breakfasts and vacation home rentals.

Quite simply, no. Here are the formal reasons why – out of safety concerns for our guests, employees, and resort property, as well as concerns for individual privacy, Blue Mountain Resort prohibits the operation or use of unmanned aerial systems, or drones, by the general public – including recreational users and hobbyists – without the prior written authorization from the Resort. This prohibition includes drones used for filming or videotaping, as well as any drone use by media or journalists operating above or within Blue Mountain Resort property boundaries. This prohibition on drone operations or use extends to any drones launched or operated from Resort property, as well as drones launched from private property outside of the Resort boundaries. Please contact our resort representative by email (information@skibluemt.com) if you have any questions or if you seek prior authorization to operate any aerial drones. Any authorized operation of aerial drones may be governed by Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) rules and regulations, local law enforcement, [and / or U.S. Forest Service rules], as well as those policies separately established by this Resort, which may include certification, training, insurance coverage, indemnification requirements, and waivers or releases of liability.  Any violation of this policy may involve suspension of your guest privileges, or the revocation of your passes, as well as confiscation of any drone equipment, and may subject violators to any damages, including, but not limited to, damages for violations of privacy and/or physical or personal injuries or property damage, as well as regulatory fines and legal fees.
