Blue Mountain Bike Park trails are rated similarly to our ski trails. Green trails are the easiest, blue trails are more difficult & black trails are most difficult. Please keep in mind that this rating system compares the difficulty of our trails in relation with each other. This is not a comparison of our trails to trails at other mountains or trail systems. We do not currently offer any trails that would be comparable to a bike path.
Green trails do contain rocky and rooted sections, dirt berms and rollers, as well as steep grades and varied terrain. These trails do make their way down a mountain side and some mountain bike skill is required to ride them comfortably. A full suspension mountain bike is recommended for these trails.
Blue trails contain features of increasing difficulty including small drops, jumps, larger berms and steeper trails. An all mountain full suspension mountain bike or downhill bike is recommended for these trails. Some body armor protection is also recommended on our blue trails.
Black trails are the expert downhill trails. These trails are steep, rocky, loose, and contain larger jumps and drop offs. A 6” – 9” travel downhill bike is highly recommended on the black trails. A full face helmet and full body armor are also highly recommended for guests riding this terrain.
